Landscape Designer, Job Captain | Oakland, San Diego, Orange County

*Hiring in all 3 offices*


We are seeking a full time, Job Captain (2-4 years’ experience) in the field of Landscape Architecture for our San Diego, Oakland and Costa Mesa offices. The Job Captain will work directly with the Landscape Architecture team and assist in the design & creation of a diverse mix of projects.

Key Qualifications & Responsibilities:

  • Knowledge in AutoCAD, Land F/X, SketchUp, Photoshop & InDesign
  • Able to manage and mentor Project Designers
  • Perform quality control checks on work produced by team
  • Interact with Clients and Consultants occasionally
  • Independently complete tasks with minimal direction from Project Managers
  • Ability to work within a team environment. We are a growing company with an open & collaborative environment; team chemistry is key
  • A degree in Landscape Architecture
  • Work experience in a Landscape Architect’s office

A Plus (but not required):

  • Knowledge of Revit

Architect | Orange County


We are looking for an experienced, outgoing Architect to perform all phases of architectural work including planning, designing, coordination, producing CDs, and performing CA. You will be involved in new building designs and renovation and TI projects. Our goal is to meet the Clients’ needs and to produce sustainable, functional, and aesthetically pleasing designs.


  • Completely responsible for the management, coordination, production, and detailing of construction documents
  • Provide technical expertise to ensure coordinated, high quality construction documents, and review drawings for quality control
  • Conduct construction administration activities including site visits, RFI responses, submittal, and punch list reviews
  • Control projects from start to finish to ensure high quality, innovative, and functional design
  • Ensure that all projects are carried out to specific standards, building codes, guidelines, and regulations
  • Attend Client meetings and coordinate with outside Consultants
  • Inspire, develop, and mentor architectural design staff

Skills & Requirements:

  • Highly skilled in AutoCAD, experience with Revit preferred
  • Professional knowledge of building products, construction details, and relevant rules, regulations & standards
  • Strong comprehension and familiarity of, and ability to assess and navigate building codes
  • Must have professional experience with Type V projects, both single-family and multi-family
  • Residential and commercial experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of technical design and documentation
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
  • Ability to take on and maintain multiple simultaneous projects, in various phases
  • Strong imagination and show the ability to create in three dimensions
  • Positive, outgoing, and energetic team member who enjoys working in a collaborative team environment
  • Excellent drawing skills and familiarity with design software (Adobe Photoshop, SketchUp)
  • Strong communication and project management skills
  • Must be a licensed Architect in California, other jurisdictions a plus

Education & Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum 8-10 years’ experience
  • Professional degree in Architecture

3D Renderer | Orange County


  • Minimum 2 to 3 years’ experience with architectural rendering
  • Experience in SketchUp, or AutoCAD, or Autodesk 3D Max, or Twin Motion, or V-Ray, or Adobe Suite.
  • Will be working closely with the architectural and design teams to plan and visualize construction projects
  • Produce all architectural renderings including eye level exterior views, interior views, and balcony and upper level views of the building
  • Create 3D architectural and landscape designs from 2D floor plans
  • Import 3D designs into rendering programs
  • Excel at allocating time for specific tasks and adapting to changing circumstances

A Plus (but not required):

  • Understanding of Architectural plans
  • Other 3D Modeling Programs (3D Studio Max, Revit, etc.)
  • Motion Graphics / Video Editing & Composting
  • V-Ray Rendering and Lighting (or other Rendering Engine)
  • Sound/Audio Editing
  • Photography and real world lighting
  • World Building (Interactive/Gaming) and/or Design knowledge
  • Previous work experience in an Architect’s office
