Originally from Portland, I have long had a fascination of exploring the pristine coniferous forests and snowy mountains ranges that surrounded me while also enjoying the lively energy of a city. My interest in the intersection of ecological preservation and urban design led me to California’s central coast to study Landscape Architecture at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. I have since fallen in love with incredible coastal and urban landscapes and grown an appreciation for the built environment’s role in facilitating healthy communities. I enjoy most any outdoor activity, but often spend my free time on hiking trails with my dog, cooking with friends, skiing when I get the chance, and wandering around for a good cup of coffee.
I am thrilled to be interning this summer in the San Diego office to get a glimpse of the professional work environment. It is a wonderful place to call home for the summer and I am excited to explore the many neighborhoods and beaches while I am here.
