“Never stop learning”

Born and raised in Orange County. Discovered my interest in drafting and design in high school and kept going. As I grew proficient in hand drafting I was introduced to CAD and was told it’s the “Future”. I was fascinated with technology and began to pursue my career in drafting technology. Going to school in Orange County and working for architectural industry firms for the next 30 years developed my professional experience in which has allowed me to work on a broad range of projects including commercial, custom single-family homes, multi-family housing, hospitality and tenant improvements.

I am detail oriented, dedicated and work easily with clients, project consultants and government agencies. My early training and interest in construction technology has allowed me to understand the architectural process and flow of work in the industry. Also teaching part time at a private college in various CAD software programs including Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD and Navisworks. I am passionate about my work and enjoy collaborating with colleagues. I am inspired by various mentors that I have met and worked with through my endeavors in architecture. Pandemic of 2020, although a great setback for most, has really opened opportunities to be able to reach out to more students online all over the US leaving more of my thumbprint in life. I’ve been very fortunate to meet more industry people through this avenue.

My interests include car restoration and shows and also designing and building various wood craft projects. My family is a very important aspect of my life. I have been married for 24 years and have a teenage daughter and a younger son. We enjoy movies, family outings and just barbecuing.

I am truly happy on the road that life has taken me and excited to experience on what’s ahead.
