Urban Arena led the landscape design for Covina Bowl, a 5.23-acre mixed-use community in Covina, California. Developed by Trumark Homes, the project introduces 113 new residences and restores the iconic facility as a vibrant community hub.
We drew inspiration from the site’s mid-century roots to create a bold, cohesive landscape. The design activates pocket parks, paseos, streetscapes, and outdoor gathering areas. Plant palettes, hardscape elements, fencing, and furnishings support both connection and quiet retreat.
Colorful paving, trellis structures, lighting, and irrigation details reinforce the modern character while honoring the site’s nostalgic charm. New residents and the public are welcomed and invited to dine, shop, and explore—celebrating the legacy of a beloved landmark through thoughtful design.
