About This Project

Elaine Richardson Park is a two-acre public park located in southern San Jose. The park is dedicated to and honors a long time San Jose resident and owner of the iconic Koffee Kup Café and features multiple recreation features to create a neighborhood park to define the community.

The park was designed to create a location for the community to gather and enjoy open space in a neighborhood currently void of parks. The park features multiple recreation opportunities including BBQ areas, game tables, two play structures, basketball court, a community stage, and a large open lawn. Additionally, Richardson Park is compliant with the latest MWELO and C3 standards and features native plantings, complete water retention on-site and reliance on permeable materials where possible.

The developer funded park is wrapped by the newly finished Indigo townhomes developed by Taylor Morrison and future neighborhood retail.
