About This Project

Urban Arena is leading the landscape architecture for a new residential community in Tracy, California. The project introduces two large neighborhood parks, a landscaped perimeter along the industrial edge, and a network of pedestrian-friendly spaces designed to connect residents with nature and each other.

The design emphasizes sustainability, incorporating biofiltration swales, bioretention areas, and drought-tolerant planting that meet the City of Tracy’s low-impact development standards. Urban Arena is crafting conceptual plans, park programming diagrams, and detailed landscape packages to define the project’s architectural theme and character.

Neighborhood Park A and Neighborhood Park B, spanning more than eight acres combined, will feature active and passive recreation spaces, playgrounds, shaded gathering areas, and amenities tailored to the needs of the community. Along the project perimeter, landscape buffers soften the transition between the neighborhood and adjacent industrial uses.

Through thoughtful planning and design, Urban Arena is ensuring the landscape not only enhances the community’s identity but also supports long-term ecological resilience and livability for residents.
